These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Arlington Mobile Notary and any related services, including mobile notary appointments, document handling, and customer support (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Box 447 Corporation ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility & Use of Service
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding agreements. You agree to provide accurate information when booking services and to maintain the confidentiality of any login credentials, if applicable.
2. Description of Service
Arlington Mobile Notary offers mobile notary services, including general notarizations, real estate closings, and document authentication. Services may be delivered in person or remotely, depending on jurisdictional allowances and client preferences.
3. Booking & Authorization
By booking a notary appointment, you confirm that you are authorized to sign the documents presented and that all parties involved are legally eligible. You agree to not submit fraudulent, incomplete, or misleading documents for notarization.
4. Remote Online Notarization (RON)
Where permitted by Texas law and applicable regulations, Arlington Mobile Notary offers Remote Online Notarization (RON) services.
- RON sessions are conducted via secure, encrypted platforms that meet state compliance standards.
- You must present valid identification and consent to audio-video recording of the session.
- You are responsible for ensuring your device meets technical requirements and that you have a stable internet connection.
- RON services may be subject to additional fees and verification protocols.
5. Accessibility Compliance
Arlington Mobile Notary is committed to digital accessibility and strives to comply with WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
- We regularly scan and update our website to remove barriers for users with disabilities.
- If you encounter any accessibility issues, please contact us at support@arlingtonmobilenotary.com so we can assist and improve.
- Accessibility tools such as screen reader compatibility, keyboard navigation, and contrast settings are supported or actively being enhanced.
6. Service Guarantees
We aim to deliver professional, punctual, and legally compliant notary services.
- If a scheduled appointment is delayed or canceled due to our error, we will offer rescheduling or a full refund.
- If a notarized document is rejected due to a notary error, we will re-notarize at no additional cost.
- Service guarantees do not apply to client-side errors, such as invalid ID, incomplete documents, or failure to appear.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You agree to:
- Not misrepresent your identity or the identity of signers;
- Use the Service for unlawful or deceptive purposes;
- Not attempt to interfere with or disrupt the functionality of the Service;
- Record or distribute any part of the notary session without consent.
8. Fees & Refunds
Fees are disclosed prior to booking and may vary based on location, document type, and urgency. Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise arranged. Refunds are issued only in cases of service cancellation with at least 24 hours’ notice or if the notary is unable to perform the service due to Company error.
9. Legal Disclaimer
Notaries are not attorneys and cannot provide legal advice or interpret documents. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your documents are legally sufficient and appropriate for notarization. The Company does not guarantee that notarized documents will be accepted by third parties or government agencies.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law: We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific service in question.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Box 447 Corporation, its officers, agents, and contractors from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from:
- Your breach of these Terms;
- Misuse of the Service;
- Submission of unlawful or fraudulent documents.
12. Privacy & Data Handling
Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy . We do not store notarized documents unless explicitly requested or required by law.
13. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for violations of these Terms or applicable laws. Upon termination, provisions related to liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution shall survive.
14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Tarrant County, Texas.
15. Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page and take effect 30 days after posting. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
